Nile Street

The scheme is a combination of sales, keyworker, affordable and shared ownership rental apartments. The density is very high and to increase amenity there are rooftop communal gardens surrounded by stainless steel balustrade which acts as a wind break. The central courtyard contains a water feature and bamboo planting and acts as a backdrop to the inwardly facing flats. The street elevations are formed from a continuous band of patinated copper, and the internal elevations are clad with a timber rainscreen. The project won the Evening Standard New Homes Awards 2006: Best New Development in the Affordable Homes Sector.
